Unlimited - $175 Per Year
Recommended for trailer-launched boats staying close to shore or exploring the East Santa Barbara Channel including Santa Cruz and Anacapa Islands.
BoatUS pays 100% for open-water boat towing, jump-starts, fuel delivery, and soft ungroundings within 40 nautical miles of any TowBoatUS port.
BoatUS pays 50% for a tow for the purpose of repair from a non-restricted location (dock-to-dock tows) within 25 nautical miles.
Unlimited Gold - $215 per year
Recommended for boats kept in the water as well as the avid mariners exploring the Channel Islands National Park and the West Santa Barbara Channel including Gaviota and El Capitan.

Memberships go into effect midnight of the day you sign up for open-water assistance towing, not covering any pre-existing conditions. Dock to dock tows and tows from a non-restricted locations do not go into effect for 30 days.
A “non-restricted location” is defined as a dock, mooring, or anchorage where the covered vessel is regularly kept, or a dock, mooring or anchorage where the covered vessel can remain 12 or more hours. A jumpstart at a non-restricted location is only covered by BoatUS if the location is not where the vessel is normally kept and the covered vessel has not been there for more than 7 days. BoatUS will cover a tow for the purpose of repairs of a covered vessel from a non-restricted location to a dock, mooring, repair facility or point of haul out within 25 navigable nautical miles. Tows from a non-restricted location within the first 30 days of membership purchase or when member is chartering, renting, or borrowing the disabled vessel is not covered by BoatUS.
